I was kind of hesitant to believe a vibrating bark collar would do the job for my always barking dog. We have 3 Dogs. The one causes the other 2 to bark too. Since I put it on the Bark provoking dog Lady. She Instantly responded to the vibration. It did take a few trys at the Sensitivity Level. The instructions suggest to start between 1-3, and it goes up to 7. 1-3 seemed not to work. I found it worked well at 4-5. The Bark Collar responds to noise. Which is on the inside of the collar. I’m assuming closest to their vocal cords. It took my dog 1 day by the 2nd day she knew the Vibration was from barking. Overall I am Really Happy. Especially that it is Rechargeable.

This collar has changed our life! I sincerely mean that! We love our baby Charlotte but her howling was out of control. We live in a very active neighborhood (everyone walks, jogs, bikes) and Charlotte was at it (howling and barking)all day. It was ear piercing and impossible to live with. Our neighbors were constantly complaining, with one even threatening violence against our pup. Things changed immediately after putting the collar on Charlotte! We can now enjoy her company inside and she can even be outside without incident. Thank you so much!

I had forgotten I had put these in the door pocket in my car. I was on a roadtrip and listening to a book for the first time in the car and kept hearing beeps. I thought maybe it was so that you wouldn’t fall asleep while driving. Two days later I figured it out. When one of the dogs decided to bark in a hotel room when people walked by. I went to the car and discovered that one of the collars was right on the speaker. I put the collar on the dog and he barked just one more time after that and he heard the beep and stopped. I don’t use these frequently but the battery life is great. Just sometimes dogs get to barking and rather than keep telling them to quit aka me answering their bark and rewarding it, I can just put one of these collars on and they hear the beep and stop. Most of the dogs have figured it out after 4 or 5 times barking and the beep goes off. Once they quit barking at every noise then they get a treat or a bone or a toy whatever they like. They know the weight of the collar and stop. Sometimes you can just put the collar on without a battery or just put the collar near their crate and they stop barking. These are great when traveling and staying in hotel rooms and they hear all the strange noises. It just reminds them to be quiet and relax and take everything in calmly.

I really needed my dogs to quiet down since they bark at night and neighbors but also didn’t want to hurt them with ‘shock’. I got these being skeptical about it being ‘humane’ but decided what the hell give it a try. I tested it myself to see the strength of the vibration and I was relieved to know that that it only vibrates mildly for 1/2 sec. Before the vibration comes series of beeps that, at least with my dogs, works like a charm to deter them from continue to bark. It will vibrate longer if the barking continues but they have to learn somehow… I had the collars put on loose so it doesn’t “shock” them too hard at first and the first day they quickly got distracted by the beep before the vibration came. One of the dog got too excited by the golfer and went for it but stops after 3 barks. No more nonstop barking from both of the dogs. And no more barking at 10pm walk.
